CEO and Director of Clinical Operations for B&A, leading numerous projects ongoing in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Colombia since November 2008 when she set up the first company in Argentina. She began her career in Clinical Research in 1997, when she worked for a multi-national CRO in Argentina. Since then Anne has been involved in Clinical Monitoring and Management for both the Biopharmaceutical & Medical Device Industry and Academic Based Research.Anne studied Biology at the University of Buenos Aires and completed her postgraduate in Monitoring of Clinical Trials and in Clinical Research in the AMA (Argentine Medical Association) in 2001. Internationally ICH certified as CRA by ACRP in 2004, and presently Item Writer for the CCRA exam, Anne is also Editor of the Barnett International "GCP Question and Answer Guide" (Section for Latin America) yearly since 2012. Anne has authored several articles in publications such as "The Monitor" and "GCP Journal", presented in several international conferences and also hosted webinars related to the implementation of Clinical Research studies, regulations and oversight for compliance in Latin America. In 2015 she won the Outstanding Leadership in Clinical Research as a CRA Award by ACRP. She is also a member of the board of AICROS covering Latin America for the Organization.
Bsc. Chief Financial Officer, Finance Manager. Cecilia has background experience as Business Analyst and she is trained in Economy, Administration Management and Investments. Since 2009, her position in B&A is Chief Financial Officer and Finance Manager. She is responsible for coordinating and controlling all financial aspects, communicating and documenting any financial issue associated with the progress of the business, preparing Internal forecast and budget for Clinical Studies. She is also in charge of budget control and financial analysis for B&A.
Chief Operation Officer & Country Manager Brazil. One of the Founders and CEO of Blanchard & Asociados do Brazil Ltda and COO of Blanchard & Associates LLC since June 2013. She began her career in Clinical Research in 1998, when he worked for Roche and subsequently Aventis Pharma, as CRA in São Paulo Today she brings to the company 10 years of successful Clinical Research Management in Brazil, critical to regional development of B&A. In 2002 she founded Medicamenta MRS a Local Clinical Research Services Company in Brazil collaborationg in several regional projects for B&A since 2009. Joyce Graduated in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from the University of São Paulo, and later as Diabetes Specialist at Federal University of Ceará. She is a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) by SOCRA (Society of Clinical Research Professionals).
MD, Chief Scientific Officer/Senior Medical Advisor. Carlos is specialist in Infectious Diseases. He brings to B&A many years of experience in Clinical Research. After completing his post doctoral fellowship in HIV/AIDS at the Center for Excellence in HIV/AIDS in Vancouver, he relocated his practice in Buenos Aires.
Since then, Carlos has been Principal Investigator in numerous studies ranging from Phase I to Phase IV. Over the last 10 years he provided services as Medical Director to an international CRO and was involved in development of clinical research protocols and scientific guidance to clients. In addition, he has been consulted for several pharmaceutical and biotech companies as medical expert, speaker at product oriented meetings and seminars and trainer of sales representatives.
His past experience has included active work in Central and South American Countries such as Peru, Salvador, Panama, Costa Rica, El Salvador and Guatemala. Carlos is Chief Scientific Officer and Medical Advisor of B&A.
Eugenio Silva Meneses
Country Manager for Chile. Graduated in Chemistry and Pharmacy at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 1996, Eugenio is experienced for more than 12 years in clinical trials implementation, development and management in Phase I - II - III studies and especially in Regulatory phase to institutional entities (Institutional Ethics Committees and Health Services under the Ministry of Health) and government (Ministries of Health: I.S.P.; I.N.S.; A.N.M.A.T.; C.O.N.E.P.I.; etc.) of almost all of Latin American countries since 1997. Therapeutic areas of experience include Cardiology, Neurology, Psychiatry, Vascular Surgery, Allergy/immunology, Infectious Diseases, Oncology, Brochopulmonar and Endocrine (Diabetes I and II). Eugenio presently holds a positionas Country Manager and for B&A in Chile ongoing since February 2009.
Clinical Operations Manager. Mariano is a medical doctor with over 13 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry including Project Management and Business Development. Trained as an Orthopedic surgeon, he owns a master in pharmaceutical medicine and is currently pursuing an MBA at Di Tella University.Before joining B&A he worked for large multinational CROs, PPD and PRA, with global project management responsibilities and at MSD Argentina as Clinical Research Manager.
